How to make bricks in Minecraft
As in real life, bricks are a popular decorative element used in Minecraft. You can’t find these blocks in nature or in the villages, so you will have to make them at home. Here’s how to make bricks and how to use them in Minecraft.
First of all, you will need to find clay blocks in nature. These grey blocks are found near and in bodies of water (but not in the oceans) and can be picked up with your hand. When you break it down, it turns into a ball of clay. Take this item home with you.
Back home, place the block of clay in the upper slot of a kiln and put some kind of fuel (wood, coal, lava) in the lower slot. This will start to melt bricks. When the item appears in the box on the right, you can move it to your inventory.
Now that you have bricks, you’ll need to take them to a craft table to see what you can do with them. Four bricks can be made out of brick blocks, useful to use in fireplaces because fire has no effect on them and doesn’t burn your place. From there, you can create several brick blocks to make stairs, walls and brick slabs. Three bricks can be made in a flowerpot so that you can decorate your place with flowers.
